Former Ashland man killed in Afghanistan
An Ashland native and career soldier was killed alongside two fellow members of the Army Special Forces in Afghanistan Saturday when his vehicle rolled into a canal, military officials said.

Electrician helped form Keefe Tech
ASHLAND -Harry Kisby believed in vocational education. In the late '60s, he served as a member of a committee that helped found Joseph P. Keefe Technical School. He not only helped design the school and establish the curriculum, he taught night courses there, said his son, Dr. Lance Kisby of Danville, Pa.
